Reggiana wants to make a move on Carpi, director of sports Marco Bernardi may bring his protégés Sorzi and Giani to the club next season. Bernardi, native of the Reggiano Appennines, will be officially appointed as the club's director of sports only after Wednesday, when the contract that still binds him to Carpi is expected to be resolved. To join Reggiana and 'return home', Bernardi will give up all the income he would have received from Lazzaretti next season and also the premiums earned during the last season, including those related to the achievement of salvation and those of valorization of some players brought to the court of Mister Cassani. Sorzi is a true protégé of Bernardi, who had him under his control at Fiorenzuola before bringing him to Carpi, where he has definitively established himself. The 2000-born goalkeeper, native of the city of Pio but grown and resident in the reggianissima San Martino in Rio, is in contract with Carpi (which will try to convince him to stay until the end) until June 30 and a call from Reggiana - in which he grew up until the post-bankruptcy break in 2018 when he embarked on the path that led him to Correggio, Pianese and Lentigione first of Fiorenzuala and Carpi - would be difficult to ignore. Giani is also a protégé of Bernardi, who wanted him for two years at Fiorenzuola and who pointed him out again in the last winter market when Carpi had to replace Cortesi. An adventure that started well and ended with more injuries than goals, that of Giani in biancorosso, which however showed certainly important blows for the category. A technical baggage that, given the end of his loan to Carpi and his return to Brescia as a starter, could now be relocated in the nearby Reggio.
