Reggiana is set to experience an important moment with the inauguration of Toano Sport Park, a new facility that will host the team's summer retreat from July 15 to 31. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, June 27, at 10:30 AM in Toano, where the local community is enthusiastically preparing to welcome the granata. Toano Sport Park is a multifunctional facility that offers changing rooms, a room for referees, a first aid area, and a meeting/press room, all certified by Coni. The facility was funded through a Pnrr grant amounting to 1.4 million euros and also includes a solar panel system for sustainable energy management.
During the retreat, Reggiana will play three friendly matches, traditionally held in Cavola, but this year it will be evaluated whether some of them will take place at Toano Sport Park. This new sports center will not only host Reggiana but also Alcione, a Serie C team, and the Primavera team. The boys from the granata Camp will train at Toano Sport Park from June 22 to 28, contributing to making the location a national sports reference point.
The playing field at Toano Sport Park has been expanded and equipped with an irrigation system, ensuring optimal conditions for Reggiana's training under the guidance of coach Attilio Tesser. The Toano community, despite the relegation from Serie B, is ready to welcome the granata, with special events planned to celebrate the start of the season. Mayor Leonardo Perugi and other political authorities will participate in the inauguration, highlighting the importance of this new facility for the sporting future of the area.
